This collection is manufactured using some of the finest Indonesian plantation teak available on the market. Plantation teak (Tectona grandis) enjoys a well-deserved reputation for its strength, durability, and stability in fluctuating climates as well as its excellent aesthetic appearance. No other wood used in outdoor furniture rivals teak’s durability which is a result of its natural oiliness. Consequently teak needs no maintenance or preservative treatments. Untreated it will weather to a distinguished silvery grey look which blends well with nature. Teak is also recognized as being resistant to fungal decay and insect attack, even to termites and marine borers. It is thus the best choice for furniture for your garden, patio, pool, boat or the beach. The natural fine hand-sanded finish is standard for all products. We do not use teak oil or any other coloring method to hide imperfections in our teak outdoor furniture.
